Opta has the world of sport covered. They collect, package and distribute information on around 60,000 fixtures every year, from over 30 different sports in around 70 countries. Since their inception in 1996 they’ve built up the most comprehensive historical sports database on the planet. This means that they understand sport, and they understand the part that data, information and statistics have to play in the fabric of sport.
A great opportunity to pitch for the rebrand for one of the most sophisticated sports data collecting companies in the world. Working with the branding team then main objective for this project was to develop a truly global and engaging website for not just commercial companies requiring data but also the consumer.
